One Step Back

Hi everyone...yesterday was tiring. Dallas developed a fever that we were unable to control at home and after a quick consultation with his former nurses at the hospital we reluctantly made the trip back to the Emergency Department. After a 3 hour wait (it was apparently a slow day there) we were in. It turns out he has pneumonia and a bladder infection - both of these are complications of the surgery. The pneumonia is a result of a partially collapsed lung - sometimes your lungs don't properly re-inflate after surgery. Luckily, the ER staff were able to get his fever down and with antibiotics he should be fine. The good news of the day was that his incision is healing very well and there is no problem with infection there.

We're back home again and he's resting well. More later...

Good morning....sorry to hear about the set back but I am glad for you that you didn't have to stay in again and it can be taken care of at home. Hope this next week goes better for you.

Hi Guys: I'm sorry to hear about your trials yesterday. I'm glad the doctors were able to take care of the fever and the antibiotics should take care of the rest. We are thinking of you and are available if you need anything. Love!

Hey Big D, keep a stiff upper, your a tough guy and you will get through all this stuff. I played in the Springs Pro-Am today played like a dog. Joe Sr., Simon Gramlich, and JJ, we were not last but close. Casey was 3rd. in the Pro div. , nt bad considering he just passed his PAT last week. With all his winnings he prob. made $ 2G. Good for the little guy hey ?

Get better!

Hi guys,
We were out east the past 4 days so just checking in on you tonight - a few ups and downs (!)...but happy to hear heading in the right direction. Take care at home and I just know this is the best "medicine" you can get right now - some home cooked favourites and a whole bunch of TLC! Take care - big hugs.

Love, Ev & Bill
