YEAH!!!! HOMEWARD BOUND!

Dallas is doing so well that the doctor cut him loose for a month! We'll take those magic pills back to the island and just have a check up in Vancouver once a month. I'm sure Dallas will continue to report on his fishing exploits and I'll cover any other items of interest. Thanks for always listening and being our cheering section! Life is good...

Love,
Patty

Hey Patty and Dallas-is that great news or what???? You've made both of our days! We are so happy that you get a whole month off-we remember how important that was. Now just relax and fish. We'll call this week to catch up. Love you lots Anne and Brian

DALLAS - YES!!

Wonderful news, it must have something to do with all the fish stories, fish food, fish anticipation, fish handling, and the smell of fresh fish. Congrats you two. Thinking of you.

To: The Big Guy (nickname?)

After realizing that keeping you in Vancouver this past month was hopeless and seeing what wonderfull results fresh air and Halibut Derby's were doing for you EVERY week(not my pills!!) you now have MY OFFICIAL blessing to be more than half hour from the Clinic and head for home!! Did you really think that the tan you were getting wasn't noticed as it rained continually here in Vancouver while on your trial. Please do report back when you think of me and yes I do like halibut!!

Well another day on the ocean and no fish in the boat, we had one up to the boat then I made a rookies mistake and the large hali was gone. Rookie mistake at age 52? (42 in Metric) Back out for day two at 7am tomorrow. Maybe I should fish with my oncologist Take Care Dallas

Hi Dallas & Patty; so glad to hear your great news. It's amazing what a little fresh air & salt water will do for the soul! We're back in Invermere. Weather is good, golfing is good ( the Springs course is in great shape) & glad to be home once again. When we're out your way we will be sure to drop in for a 'fish fry' We think of you often Take care Lawrence & Judy

Fishermen have always known the healing power of the sport, right Big D? Quite unlike golf which will probably drive us all nuts someday, fishing is like taking medicine.

Glad to hear you are doing so well big guy.
