We are keeping busy here – Dallas continues to fight the cancer with all his might but some days are very difficult. He is having a lot of issues with edema (swelling in the feet and legs especially) but he is adjusting well to using a cane and taking breaks when he needs to. We also have a walker that he is using so that he can move around a bit better when we go out. His inner strength never ceases to amaze me – I can only guess at how difficult these changes are for him. I’ve come to realize that we are still making wonderful memories together, even through this devastating time – so that in itself is a gift.
Hi everyone its Dallas now, I guess I should post more but I am not the computer one of the family. I will post some new pics soon as the hair is coming back. Fishing is terrible same as the weather, we haven't caught many salmon lately. There are days when I need the walker but most days the cane works just fine. Poor Jordan as he does all the work on and off the boat. Take care!
More later...

So wonderful to hear you both! As always - take good care and glad to see you bonding with the new "walking stick" Dallas. Hope your weather lifts for you so you can enjoy some sun on the boat. Don't laugh...we're getting snow tonight and tomorrow..again!
Love the blog updates Patty

Dallas & Patty, we are back home from the sunny south and we also are recieving our daily morning snow. Even if it is not adding up to much it is a reminder of the winter season we mostly missed and it slows down the arrival of spring. We have been following your news here on the Blog and with Ed, Dave and Bob. It is great to see you are doing well and of course adapting, as the rest of us are to our changing bodies. You continue to amaze us and of course we are all thinking of you often. The fishing and the weather will improve! Bob's golf game may not!
If we can do anything for you guys around the house just let us know we will be on the next ferry. Mark & Kathy
Thanks to everyone we have had lots of emails as well from the last post. New meds on Friday seem to be working a little on the swelling so we will see. Later Dallas
Patty and Dallas, thank you for the update. Your friends must be in Calgary as we are all tired of shovelling snow. Just keep us posted and enjoy your family time. May the clouds go away and Cinnamon Girl will feel your hands at the helm.
God bless .....Sue and Dick

Dallas and Patty,
We so loved our visit with you a few weeks ago. It just wasn't nearly long enough. Dallas, I so wanted to sit and talk with you all night long, but then the dinner bell rang... Please know that we think of you DAILY. There's hardly a day that goes by that someone in the house says, "I wonder how Dallas is doing today?" or "I wonder if Dallas is out fishing today?" typically Conner asking that one. Speaking of dinner, Patty makes a mean lasagna.... dang, it was GOOD! Thanks again so much for your efforts in being with us. We all love you both so much, The Clarks in San Diego xoxoxox
