You can never have enough halibut. After catching one you become very popular. WE gave away 2/3rds now need a few more for the big fish and chip night we will have once we get back home for good. I am still feeling good and asked the Dr. yesterday if I am feeling good because of the new drug but he thinks its to early for me to notice any results after only two weeks on the magic pills. Again thanks to everyone for your calls, emails and blog's.
Take care,
Dallas
PS I will teach Steve how to catch fish again this weekend

Big D, how deep are you fishing for these halibuts? Are you jiggin for them? With what? Don't catch em all if I get the job I am after @ Nanaimo I want in.
We just arrived at Pahrump Nevada, home of the world famous Chicken Ranch. So I said to Jude" Well I have never seen a chicken ranch perhaps I should go and see how one is run " When I regained conciousness I realized she was into the idea.
Stay tuff, keep your stick on the ice. LM
Lawrence last time I caught them all on a glo twister tail with salmon belly's tipped for bait. The other rod who never had a bite was using a large herring and both were right on bottom. We'll see what works on Saturday. (Steve tells me I get the rod with the herring this time)
Dallas - fabulous to "hear" you on-line! I hope the halibut are waiting for you this weekend! Take care as you begin #4(final week)? Keep the good news comin'!

We all love Fish "n" Chips....anyone have any other Famous Halibut recipies they'd like to share/post. Perhaps with those Fish 'n' Chips we could do a "Spring Yard Clean Up" work party. Bring the rakes, clippers, wheelbarrow etc? .....I'm with the other "Evelyn"....it's great to hear you on-line.....if you can "reel" you can type. We're all cheering you on!
Hi everyone I think I will be eating crow this week as I never caught anything after two long days of fishing. Next weekend prawning? ( I hope the Dr doesn't ask how my face got so suntanned )
Hey Dallas: We are happy to hear you are doing so well. We are also pleased you are teaching Steve how to fish. Someone had to. Hopefully you both will end up being master fishermen and share some of the spoils with your friends?! Have a great Easter and keep up with the good medicine - both the magic pills and the fishing!
