Hi everyone...we finally have a date for the clinical trial in Vancouver - YIPPEE!!! Dallas starts on March 17th (St. Patrick's Day should be lucky don't you think?) and we probably have to be there a few days before that so that he can undergo some more tests. We've rented a cute place that's about a 20 minute walk from the hospital. If you want to check it out go to:

-we have the Arbutus Suite. We already have some reservations for the second bedroom which is great - we love the company! You are all getting us through this. Lawrence, you were asking where the cancer clinic is in Vancouver - it's pretty close to City Hall which is on Cambie, almost at Broadway. The clinic is on 10th Avenue and Ash Street, which is about a 5 minute drive from City Hall. Thankfully, it's not right downtown!
Dallas is feeling pretty well- his biggest complaint is nerve pain from the surgery. Hopefully, those nerves will reconnect soon so that phase will be behind him. He's getting out on the boat a lot - halibut season opened March 1st so the hunt is on! More later...
Love,
Patty & Dallas

Ach,faith and begorrah! Mar. 17 is a fine day ! Sounds like your in a not so bad part of Van., you can take walks down Broadway shopping and dining. I know of a poker club in there, but you better stay away they are sharks in there.
Good luck, still thinking of you every day .
Great news! Indeed - the luck of the Irish will be with you! And the apartment looks fabulous! I'm sure you'll be very conmfortable. I'm sure you're ready to just get started and have this phase behind you as well. Much love and positive thoughts headin' your way!

We have been watching the Blog and hearing all about your travels. Now that you know what to expect from the folks at Vancouver we are sure you will be ready to go. We did not manqage to make it out to see you this winter but we did get down to Mesa for a month (plus travel time back and forth). We rented a house so we did not have the pressure of the tag along trailer. We had Kathy's two sisters down for a week each, overlapped a day or two, and managed some good hikes in the desert and in the mall. Kathy is busy cutting out a quilt for Glen & Nicole for their fall wedding and I'm not doing much. It's too dam cold! We will give you guys a call before you head out but wanted you to know we are still on the sidelines cheering you on. Mark & Kathy
